Vision

We offer personalized care, rather than a one solution fits all approach. Two people facing the same challenge will have two different routes forward. This makes us truly individualized, appropriate to the situation, and nurturing in our care. The deep understanding of the individual's constitution (Prakruti), any imbalance that they are being effected by (Vikruti), and the immense body of knowledge on how to approach healing within a given situation, is one of the many gifts that Ayurveda gives us.

Evidence based wholistic care steeped in the traditional medical system of Ayurveda. The Biopsychosocial model is embedded in our approach, which takes into account the body, mind, and spirit. A new concept that has been a living practice for centuries, within Ayurveda. Nervous system regulation is one of the many outcomes of an Ayurvedic lifestyle, which is so desperately needed today.

Ayurveda offers us many roads back to our essential, health filled selves.

Some of the modalities imbedded within, and utilized through, Ayurvedic focused counselling include: Yoga, Pranayama (breathwork), Personalized Nutrition, Dietary Supplementation, Herbal Medicine, Lifestyle Recommendations, Digestive Health Support, Therapeutic Relationship, Bodywork Suggestions, and more. As it is said, "Ayurveda is an Ocean."

Land Acknowledgment

NOURISH Ayurveda Nutrition Yoga, recognises its current existence on traditional lands and includes this in its respectful awareness and conscience.

London, Ontario, is situated on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, LÅ«naapéewak, and Attawandaron peoples. This land is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties, specifically Treaty 6 (the London Township Treaty of 1796), and is connected to the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Covenant—an agreement to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes.

Today, London continues to be home to a diverse population of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities, including neighboring nations:

  • Deshkan Ziibiing (Chippewas of the Thames First Nation)

  • Oneida Nation of the Thames

  • Munsee-Delaware Nation

We acknowledge the historical and ongoing impacts of colonialism on Indigenous peoples and recognize our collective responsibility to honor the land, uphold treaty obligations, and actively support truth, reconciliation, and Indigenous sovereignty.

  • Deshkan Ziibiing (Desh-kan Zee-bing): The Ojibwe/Anishinaabemowin name for the area, meaning "Antler River" (referring to the Thames River).

  • Dish With One Spoon: An indigenous diplomatic concept representing shared stewardship—taking only what is needed, leaving enough for others, and keeping the land clean.

  • Treaty 6 (1796): The agreement signed between the Chiefs of the Chippewas and the British Crown conveying land in present-day London and surrounding townships.
