Service Description

Satvavajaya Chikitsa comes from the Bhuta Vidya (Psychiatry) branch of Ayurveda. This is the appointment to book if you simply need to communicate your experience, to be within a calm space to relate to difficulties in your life, to find a safe and compassionate ear, to have the chance to meet when undertaking recommendations, or to have support in general. Sessions are dynamic, depending on the need of the individual, and is focused on bringing balance to the body-mind-spirit, all of the resources of Ayurveda are drawn on with a special interest in the mind. As per Ayurveda, the mind is the controller, residing in the heart. The heart, hrdaya, is the centerpoint, the housing place of the soul, and the link between the physical, mental, emotional, and consciousness. Talk therapy, therapeutic alliance, and other support options such as breathing exercises (pranayama), restorative and therapeutic yoga, and others are drawn on. It is a tailored experience, meeting each individual where they are. It is a safe, warm space, to simply share, or to benefit from other Ayurvedic resources, dependent on the situation.
